About this site
Naama Bay is a sheltered bay on the Sinai coast at Sharm el-Sheikh, on the Red Sea, and serves as the main tourist and dive-boat hub for the town, lined with hotels and dive centers that run boats out to sites along the surrounding Sinai coastline and nearby offshore reefs. The bay itself offers a beginner dive over a sandy bottom, well suited to its role as a training and shore-diving spot. Divers have reported crocodilefish, ghost pipefish, nudibranchs, octopus, parrotfish, seahorses, and stonefish sheltering in the sand here.
