Sodfa lies along the Sinai coast near Sharm El Sheikh, within the stretch of the Red Sea known for its offshore reef formations. The site sits over a reef bottom to a maximum depth of around 25 metres and is generally rated an intermediate dive. Divers have also reported glassfish gathering here. Dive boats operating out of Sharm El Sheikh commonly run trips to sites along this coastline.
