About this site
Naftan is a wall dive site off Naftan Point on the southern coast of Saipan, in the Northern Mariana Islands, where the fringing reef drops into the open Philippine Sea. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 40 metres along the wall face. Its position at the island's southern tip exposes it to ocean swell and current coming off deeper water, typical of the reef-to-drop-off terrain found along this stretch of coast.
