About this site
Napoleon Reef lies along the Sinai coastline near Dahab, on the Egyptian side of the Gulf of Aqaba in the Red Sea. This stretch of coast is known for fringing reef systems reached from shore or by short boat rides out of Dahab's dive centers. The site sits over a reef bottom to a maximum depth of around 20 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported Napoleon (humphead) wrasse here, along with nudibranchs and seahorses along the reef.
