About this site
Mashraba is a stretch of coast near Dahab, on the Gulf of Aqaba side of Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, with a reef fringing close to shore that divers reach directly from land rather than by boat. The site sits over a reef bottom, tops out at around 19 metres, and is rated a beginner dive. Grouper and seahorses are regular sightings here, and divers have also reported clownfish, ghost pipefish, glassfish, lionfish, Napoleon wrasse, and stonefish along the reef.
