About this site
Nassimo Thila is a thila, or submerged reef pinnacle, rising from the atoll floor in North Male Atoll, Kaafu, Maldives, and is usually reached by dhoni or dive boat from resorts and guesthouses along North Male. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres over a reef bottom and is rated an intermediate dive. Tuna are a regular sight around the pinnacle, and divers have also reported Napoleon wrasse, snapper, and trevally patrolling the reef.
