Tiga Island sits off the coast of Sabah on the South China Sea side of Borneo, part of a small group of islands near Kuala Penyu known collectively as Pulau Tiga. The waters around the island are reached by boat from the nearby Sabah mainland, with the lighthouse marking a point along its shore.
