About this site
Iejima is a small island off the northwest coast of Okinawa, reached by ferry from Motobu Port on the main island. Its surrounding waters, part of the Okinawa Prefecture reef system, include a number of named dive points along the coastline, and Ohoba No.1 is one of them, set on a reef bottom. The island is better known among divers for volcanic rock formations and drop offs shaped by the East China Sea currents, though this particular point is rated a beginner dive.
