About this site
A vibrant reef system off Santa Cruz Island teeming with marine life. Kelp forests sway in the currents, sheltering rockfish, lobsters, and octopus. Rocky pinnacles rise from the sandy bottom, creating swim-throughs and crevices to explore. Strong currents bring nutrient-rich waters, attracting schools of fish and occasional pelagics. Visibility varies but often reaches 50 feet. Best suited for intermediate divers due to occasional surge and cooler water temperatures. The site offers a mix of dramatic topography and sandy patches where halibut hide.
