About this site
A vibrant kelp forest thrives here, with towering stalks swaying in Pacific currents. Bat rays glide over sandy patches while garibaldi dart through the underwater maze. Rocky outcrops host colorful nudibranchs and octopuses. Visibility varies but often reaches 30 feet on calm days. Moderate currents bring nutrients that attract schools of blacksmith and senorita fish. The site's shallow reefs make it ideal for newer divers, while deeper sections challenge the experienced. Water temperatures range from 50-65°F, rewarding those who brave the chill with rich marine encounters.
