About this site
Nursery sits along the southeast Florida coast in the vicinity of Boca Raton, in Palm Beach County waters offshore of the Atlantic barrier islands, and is typically reached by short boat runs from local inlets. It is a reef dive rated for beginners, with a hard bottom of coral formations including greater star coral, massive starlet coral, and mustard hill coral. Divers have reported nurse sharks resting on the reef here, along with bluehead wrasse and porkfish moving over the structure. Portuguese man o' war have also been spotted drifting through the area, worth keeping an eye out for near the surface.
