Ocean Pinnacles sits off the Central California coast near Monterey Bay, in an area known for granite reef and pinnacle formations along the edges of the Monterey submarine canyon. The site is a rocky pinnacle formation reached by boat from harbors such as Monterey, typically draped in kelp like much of this stretch of coast. Verified data puts the maximum depth at around 30.5 metres, so dives here can run from the kelp canopy down the pinnacle's flanks toward that deeper range.
