About this site
Gion (祇園) is a boat dive at Okinoshima off Itoshima on the Genkai coast of Fukuoka Prefecture, with an average depth of around 20 m and suitable from novice level. The reef is covered in vividly coloured soft coral. Anthias and yellowstriped butterfish (takabe) school over it.
