Old Volcano

This dive site features a submerged volcanic crater off Camiguin Island, where dramatic black sand slopes meet vibrant coral gardens. Schools of jacks and barracuda patrol the deep, while macro life thrives in the nutrient-rich waters. The volcanic topography creates unique swim-throughs and overhangs, often shrouded in mild thermoclines. Visibility varies with currents, rewarding divers with encounters like frogfish and nudibranchs. The site's geothermal activity occasionally warms pockets of water, adding to its otherworldly feel. Best suited for intermediate divers due to occasional strong currents.
