About this site
Oya Beach (大屋ビーチ) is a shore site at Tanabe on the Kii Peninsula of Wakayama, with a maximum depth of 8 m. A wide sandy bottom gives more depth than Inburu Mae Beach, and a float is kept in place, making it a good choice for open-water courses. Seahorses, rays and nudibranchs are seen; the site is suitable from beginner level.
