About this site

Palm Mar Wall lies off Palm Mar, a small coastal village on the southern tip of Tenerife in the Canary Islands, along a volcanic stretch of shoreline facing the Atlantic. The area is typical of southern Tenerife's rugged, dark rock coastline, with dive access usually arranged from nearby Los Cristianos or Las Galletas. The site is a wall dive to around 15 metres, rated beginner, with light current and good visibility. Eagle rays are a regular sight along the wall, and divers have also reported barracuda, garden eels, grouper, manta rays, mobula rays, snapper, and stingrays here. Some accounts mention an unmapped cave in the area with a history tied to a diver fatality, though this has not been widely corroborated.
