About this site

Pescador Island sits off the west coast of Cebu near Moalboal, in the Tañon Strait area of the Visayas. The Cathedral is a well known swim-through site on the island, with rock formations that open into a chamber where light filters down from cracks above. Reaching a maximum depth of around 35 metres, it is rated an advanced dive, owing to the depth and the swim-through sections inside the chamber. It is a popular stop for dive operators based in Moalboal, usually combined with the nearby sardine run along the Panagsama reef wall.
