About this site
Pescador Island sits off the coast of Moalboal in southwest Cebu, in the Visayan Sea, and is a small limestone islet surrounded by dive sites reached by short boat trips from Moalboal's Panagsama Beach area. Pescador West refers to the western side of this islet, where the terrain typically features a drop-off along the island's edge. Divers on this side have reported a mix of reef fish and macro subjects, including clark's and ocellaris anemonefish, tomato clownfish, blackspotted puffer, papuan toby, and snowflake moray tucked into the reef, along with giant frogfish, blue linckia sea stars, and squat anemone shrimp for those who go looking closely.
