Pinnacle

Pinnacle sits in Coron Bay off Busuanga in northern Palawan, an area better known for the Japanese fleet wrecks sunk there during a 1944 American air raid, though this particular site is a reef pinnacle rather than a wreck. It reaches a maximum depth of around 60 metres and is rated technical, with great visibility over a reef bottom. Current is strong here, and divers have also reported down currents and ferocious currents around the pinnacle. Lionfish are a confirmed presence, and divers have reported frogfish, mantis shrimp, nudibranch, pipefish, scorpionfish, snapper, sweetlips, triggerfish, and tuna as well. The site is reached by boat from Coron town, like the rest of the bay's dive sites.
