Seven Islands

Seven Islands lies in Philippine waters off Palawan, near the Cuyo island group, at the coordinates given. The site tops out at a maximum depth of around 2 metres, rated as a beginner dive suited to shallow, easy exploration rather than depth. Despite that shallow profile, divers have reported strong currents here, so conditions can run less predictable than the grade alone suggests. The area's reef holds black longspine urchin, boring giant clam, copperband butterflyfish, doublebar rabbitfish, moon wrasse, orbicular cardinalfish, titan triggerfish, vermiculate angelfish, and trevally, and divers have also reported thresher sharks passing through, an occasional sighting rather than a regular one given the shallow water.
