About this site
This dive site off Normandy's coast features a mix of rocky reefs and sandy patches, with visibility averaging 5-10 meters. Expect strong tidal currents that bring nutrient-rich waters, attracting schools of pollock, bass, and occasional seals. The seabed slopes gently, with scattered boulders hosting crabs, lobsters, and colorful anemones. Wrecks from WWII dot the area, encrusted with marine growth. Best dived at slack tide, suitable for intermediate divers. Water temperatures range 10-16°C, with thermoclines in summer. The site offers a taste of the English Channel's dynamic ecosystem.
