Salta lies off the Calvados coast of Normandy, in the eastern English Channel near the mouth of the Seine estuary, and is typically reached by boat from ports along this stretch of shoreline. It is a wall dive reaching a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated technical. Divers have also reported dolphins and sea turtles passing through the area, though these sightings are occasional rather than a given on any dive.
