About this site
Poll na bPeist, known as the Worm Hole, is a natural rectangular pool cut into the limestone shelf on the south side of Inishmore in the Aran Islands, County Galway. It sits on the exposed Atlantic coast of the island, where the flat karst pavement drops away into the open sea, and is better known as a striking geological feature and cliff-side landmark than as a developed dive site.
