About this site
Portinho Norte is a dive site within the Abrolhos Islands archipelago, off the southern coast of Bahia, Brazil, an area protected as a marine national park roughly 70 kilometres from the coastal town of Caravelas. The islands sit atop coral formations at the southern edge of Brazil's reef systems, reached by boat from the mainland or from vessels based near the archipelago.
