About this site
Poza Rica lies along the Caribbean coast of Quintana Roo on the Yucatan Peninsula, in the stretch of shoreline south of Tulum, and is typically reached by boat from small operators based in the nearby coastal towns. The reef here tops out around 15.2 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have also reported grouper on the reef, and there have even been sightings of dugong in the area.
