About this site
Profile Point is a dive site on Santa Cruz Island, part of Channel Islands National Park off the Southern California coast near Ventura. The island's northern side is dotted with rocky points and kelp forest sites typically reached by boat out of Ventura or Oxnard. Divers here have reported bat stars, chestnut cowries, purple and red sea urchins, sunburst anemones, and warty sea cucumbers among the reef life.
