About this site
Puako sits along the Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, north of Kailua-Kona, where a series of entry points give access to the fringing reef fronting the small shoreline community of Puako. The area is known for a stretch of lava rock coastline with numerous named entries strung along it, of which Puako I and Puako II are two access points into the same general reef system.
