About this site
Puffin Island offers dramatic underwater cliffs and vibrant marine life in the Atlantic. The site features steep drop-offs covered in colorful sponges and anemones. Schools of pollock and wrasse dart through the clear waters, while seals often playfully interact with divers. Strong currents bring nutrient-rich water, attracting larger pelagic species. The rocky seabed creates interesting swim-throughs and overhangs. Visibility is typically excellent, making it ideal for photography. Cold water requires proper thermal protection. Best suited for intermediate to advanced divers due to occasional surge and depth.
