About this site
Pulau Paku Besar is a small island off Redang Island in the Terengganu coastal waters of Malaysia, part of the Redang archipelago in the South China Sea. Dive sites in this area are typically reached by boat from Redang's main beaches or from mainland jetties such as Merang or Shahbandar. The reef here is a beginner dive reaching a maximum depth of around 15 metres, making it an easy site for less experienced divers. Divers have also reported pipefish among the reef life.
