About this site
Punta Arenas sits along the Baja California Sur coast of Mexico, near the mouth of the Gulf of California. It is a shallow dive with a maximum depth of around 6 metres, rated as a beginner site. Surge has been reported here at times, so conditions can pick up even at this shallow depth. Divers have also reported eagle rays and nurse sharks around the site.
