About this site
Puntod sits off Panglao Island, part of the Bohol group in the Visayas region of the Philippines, an area known for its many small dive sites along the island's southern and western shorelines. Boats to sites like this typically launch from the resort areas around Alona Beach and nearby coastal barangays. The site is a wall dive reaching a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated intermediate. Divers have reported anthias, barracuda, eagle rays, frogfish, lionfish, nudibranchs, pufferfish, reef sharks, scorpionfish, snapper and tuna along the wall.
