Puri Jati

Puri Jati sits on the north coast of Bali, in the Seririt area of Buleleng regency, along a black sand shoreline facing the Bali Sea. It's a muck diving site reached by shore entry, with a sandy bottom sloping to a maximum depth of around 16.5 metres, rated beginner with typically no current and good visibility. Divers here search for small critters that favor this kind of sand habitat, with batfish, frogfish, ghost pipefish, mimic octopus, nudibranchs, octopus, scorpionfish, and seahorses regularly found. Divers have also reported barracuda, blue-ringed octopus, damselfish, flying gurnard, fusiliers, garden eels, harlequin shrimp, lionfish, mantis shrimp, pipefish, and squid. Fishing nets are occasionally dragged over parts of the site, and the river mouth on the right side of the bay is best avoided.
