Pyramid lies in the Caribbean Sea off Puerto Plata, along the northern coast of the Dominican Republic, and is typically reached by boat trips run from operators in that coastal town. It's a beginner dive reaching a maximum depth of around 18 metres. Divers have reported lionfish on the site, and black spiny sea urchins have also been noted as a hazard to watch for.
