About this site
After a troubled 14 year career as a passenger and freight boat, she was converted to a lumbar barge. She struck on some rocks, breaking the towline, and then quickly went to pieces. Her stern section is relatively intact, with portions of the hogging arches and paddle guards still evident. Lies in about 13.7 m; sank 1863.
