Ras Qusier lies along the Red Sea coast of Egypt's Al Bahr al Ahmar governorate, a stretch of shoreline south of Hurghada and Safaga known for its fringing reefs dropping into the Red Sea proper. The headland gives the site its name, marking a point along this coastline where a reef structure extends from shore into deeper water as a wall. The wall reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated an advanced dive.
