About this site

El Quadim Bay lies on Egypt's Red Sea coast near Marsa Shagra, south of Quseir. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 8 metres and is considered a beginner dive, suited to shallow, easy diving in the bay. Divers here have reported butterflyfish, fusiliers, lionfish, lobster, mackerel, moray eels, parrotfish, sea turtles, snapper, surgeonfish, sweetlips, trevally, and wrasse across the bay's shallow water.
