Red Beryl

Red Beryl sits along Bonaire's leeward coast in the Dutch Caribbean, part of the island's fringing reef system that runs along the west and south shorelines. Like most Bonaire sites, it is reached by truck along the shore road with entry over rock or sand rather than by boat. The site has a maximum depth of around 15 metres and is rated a beginner dive, making it accessible for divers of any experience level who want a shallow, easy shore entry along this stretch of coast. Divers here have reported brown chromis, Caribbean bluehead wrasse, giant anemones, green sea turtles, schoolmaster snapper, stoplight parrotfish, and Western Atlantic trumpetfish along the reef.
