About this site

Red Rock is a dive site near Koh Nang Yuan, off the northwest coast of Koh Tao in the Ko Phangan district of Surat Thani province, southern Thailand. The area sits in the Gulf of Thailand and is typically reached by boat from Koh Tao or Koh Nang Yuan. It has a rocky bottom and reaches a maximum depth of around 19 metres, rated as an intermediate dive. Snapper are a reliable sighting here, and divers have also reported angelfish, bannerfish, barracuda, eagle rays, glassfish, grouper, napoleon wrasse, nudibranchs, pufferfish, scorpionfish, sea turtles, stingrays, triggerfish, and unicornfish around the rock formations.
