About this site
The Rhone Anchor lies near Salt Island in the British Virgin Islands, close to the wreck site of the RMS Rhone in the Sir Francis Drake Channel, and is reached by boat from nearby Tortola or Virgin Gorda. Divers here have reported Atlantic blue tang, sergeant majors, bluehead wrasse, and Christmas tree worms dotting greater star coral, along with queen, stoplight, and striped parrotfish moving over the reef. Yellowtail damselfish have also been spotted around the site.
