About this site
Rock Lake is a cave dive site on Ishigaki Island, part of the Yaeyama Islands in Okinawa Prefecture, at the southwestern end of Japan's Kyushu region grouping. Ishigaki's coastline is fringed by coral reefs, and its dive operators typically run boat trips out from ports on the island's south and west sides. Divers at Rock Lake have reported nudibranchs and pipehorses among the marine life found here.
