About this site
Rock Pile lies offshore of West Palm Beach on Florida's southeast Atlantic coast, an area known for its ledge and reef formations running roughly parallel to shore. Dive boats out of the Palm Beach inlets typically reach these sites within a short run, in a stretch of coastline shaped by limestone outcroppings and patch reef. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres, and divers have reported nurse sharks resting along the rock formations.
