About this site

Rollercoaster lies near Banta island in West Manggarai Regency, part of the Komodo National Park area in East Nusa Tenggara. It reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated an advanced dive, consistent with the strong tidal currents that sweep through the channels between the Flores Sea and the Sumba Strait around Komodo's outlying islands. Divers have also reported white-spotted puffers on this site. Boats diving this stretch typically run out from Labuan Bajo, the main gateway town on Flores.
