About this site
Batu Moncong Bay lies within West Manggarai Regency in the Komodo area of East Nusa Tenggara, part of the island cluster protected within Komodo National Park. Sites along this coastline are typically reached by boat from Labuan Bajo, the main gateway town on Flores. This is a wall dive reaching a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated advanced, with divers reporting strong currents along the wall. Bumphead parrotfish and tuna have also been spotted here.
