About this site
Roque de Bonanza lies along the coast of El Hierro, the smallest and westernmost island of the Canary archipelago in Spain. The site takes its name from a rocky formation near the Bonanza area on the island's shoreline, where the volcanic coastline drops into the Atlantic. It's a beginner dive reaching a maximum depth of around 15 metres, and divers have reported grouper around the rocky terrain here.
