About this site
Rsau sits off Morotai Island at the northern edge of Maluku province in eastern Indonesia, facing the Molucca Sea. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres. Morotai served as a major Allied staging base during World War II, and the surrounding waters are known for a mix of reef and wartime debris from that period. Divers reach Rsau by boat from coastal villages on the island.
