About this site
Sabora is a wall dive site off Bangka Island, a small island lying north of the Minahasa Peninsula in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. The area sits within the Bangka archipelago, known for its volcanic coastline and channels between Sulawesi and the smaller surrounding islands. The wall reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres, and visibility here tends to run poor. Divers have reported frogfish, mantis shrimp, nudibranchs, octopus, and stonefish along the site, making it worth a slow look for smaller, well-camouflaged creatures rather than open water action.
