About this site
This dive spot near Cabo Frio Island features clear waters with visibility often exceeding 15 meters. The rocky reef slopes gently to 18 meters, hosting vibrant soft corals and sponges. Schools of grunts, snappers, and parrotfish are common, while lucky divers may spot moray eels or nurse sharks. Currents are usually mild, making it suitable for all experience levels. The underwater terrain includes small swim-throughs and crevices to explore. Water temperatures range from 18-24°C, with thermoclines bringing cooler layers. The site offers excellent opportunities for macro photography with abundant crustaceans and nudibranchs.
