About this site
Sakiyama Azamisango (崎山アザミサンゴ) is a boat-dive reef off Sakiyama on Iriomote Island in the Yaeyama Islands, Okinawa, with a maximum depth of 24 m and an average around 12 m. More than fifty sea fans grow on the reef, with scalefin anthias schooling among them and pyramid butterflyfish in mid-water, making it one of the fishiest sites in the area. Slight current; from beginner/novice level.
