Sand Harbor sits on the Nevada shore of Lake Tahoe, within Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park on the lake's east side. The area is known for its granite boulders and clear, cold freshwater, and it draws divers as well as swimmers and kayakers from the nearby North Shore communities like Incline Village.
