About this site
Sangalo lies off Moyo Island in the Sumbawa Regency of West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, part of the Flores Sea reef systems reached by boat from Sumbawa. The reef here runs to a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated an intermediate dive. Divers have reported dugongs, guitarfish, manta rays, nudibranchs, rhinopias, whales, and whale sharks around the site, making it a spot worth watching for larger pelagics as well as smaller reef life. The waters around Moyo continue to draw divers and snorkelers exploring its fringing reef systems.
